When will the Max and Max 2 get updates?

I'm curious when we will see another update to help with all the falsing? Anybody have a timeline? Thank you

I would guess that you probably won't. The Max 2 probably has the best BSM protection compared to the max360 so considering the Max2 is now phased out I doubt any changes will be coming.

Another thought is when a new update is realeased for the 360 it will also apply to the Max, Max 2, and IX. I would expect this since that was the whole concept everyone bought into.

IIRC, I'm remembering that ER has posted that firmware updates were readied for all of the detectors in the Max family.

An IVT Filter update to reduce CAS false alerts will be coming to MAX, MAX 2, MAX 360, and Beltronics GT-7, but not the ESCORT iX. A release date has not been specified yet.

This IVT Filter update requires the MAX all-digital detector design and will enable similar filtering performance to that of the new MAX Ci custom installed detector.

Very nice, got it now.

Escort ROCKS!
Larry ROCKS!

This is great news. I'm very happy that Escort is remembering users still running discontinued units.

Thank you very much, Escort. This is what users will remember when they need to replace their RD.

PointerCone's blood pressure will go up when he sees this post :) And he'll post it on RDF.

Seriously - this is a good move Escort. People remember the support they receive and while I've been more than satisfied with my Max II, I do agree it can use a little "hamburger helper" in the IVT area.

So, now, let's get it done and out of the way so everyone from the people patiently waiting for it to the ones who ask every two weeks, can get on with our lives.

Thank you again for supporting those who recently purchased discontinued units :)

Dan (aka FWGuy on RDF).
