Escort Live Android Update, NOT Working!
Got a notification today (11/2) that there was an update to my EL android app. Updated restarted the app, and it stops working and closes, open it again and it stops working and closes. Delete the app reinstall, same issue

The app was working fine until the update  please fix this Escort ;)

Delete the app, reboot your phone, then install the app and see if it works.

And please let us know the following when reporting app issues:
Model of phone
Version of Android

Thank you

I'm having a crashing problem starting today as well. Same thing. Opens, and a few moments later it crashes. I reopen it and few moments later it crashes.

Samsung Galaxy S8+
Android version 7.0

add me to list of app crashing
Motorola Turbo 2

One thing to add. For me, after rebooting the phone, the app won't automatically connect to the detector via BT and the app stays open without crashing. I have to manually connect. Once I manually connect it to the detector, that's when it crashes. After that initial manual connection it'll automatically attempt to connect each time the app starts (and result in a crash) until I reboot the phone again.

I have the exact same issue as Xyrax.

Escort Live is now crashing on my phone. Before yesterday it never crashed. I have a Samsung Galaxy 8+ on Sprint network. When the phone connects to my Escort Max 360 it will crash very shortly after connecting via Bluetooth. If I don't connect my phone to the radar detector via Bluetooth then the app does not crash. Hope this helps, and I hope you can fix this issue soon. Side note, I already tried clearing the app data and uninstalling it completely, then reinstalling it. No change. Still crashes within seconds after the Bluetooth handshake.

I have the same exact issue as SuperNuts, same phone, app, detector. I went through uninstalling, reinstalling, rebooting, resetting firmware, etc. This was working fine until the most recent updates of the app were installed.
